I loved this book! This book paints an amazing picture of the affects individuals have on people through their words, actions, and prayers. I plan to choose this book for my bookclub in a few months and I believe the discussion will be dynamic and interesting! This book changed my prayer life forever. It will change the way you think! It's a must read!
- D. Harper, Atlanta, GA

No one could write a novel like "On The Edge" without having a glimpse of the world of the spirit. Most of us walk through life oblivious to what is really going on around us. Parker Hudson gives a shocking revelation of the "other world" and how our words and actions affect it. We see how the choices we make stir up the war zones of the heavens and how they affect our destiny.

The Bible tells us to "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life" (Proverbs 4:23). Most of the serious "issues of life" are touched upon in this riveting novel; husband and wife relationships, adultery, homosexuality, adolescent and teenage difficulties, abortion, media, business ethics and religion. Indeed, there is something here for everyone! I certainly found myself on some of these pages! I was forced to rethink some of my own choices with regard to some of these "issues". I was urged to reflect on myself and my family, for better or for worse, and I could almost feel how the forces of good and evil hovered over us and how our destinies were affected.

There are two scenarios within "On The Edge", (indeed aren't we always "on the edge" in the "valley of decision") as there are always two scenarios in real life, a good one and a bad one. This author gives us a choice. I loved this book. I know it had to be written by an author who understands the major "Call" upon all our lives and the pain it brings when we ignore it. Thank you, Parker Hudson, for reminding me about how I must "keep my heart with all diligence" and consider the "issues of life" in relationship to that "Call".

I just want to say that I have truly been touched the five times I have read your book - On The Edge. I passed it around to several people in my church and they all say that they have never truly understood spiritual warfare until they read your book. I tell everyone I meet about your book and have used it to display God's love for all of us. Thank you so much for allowing God to use you.

Your book, "On The Edge" is one of the best Christian fiction books I have ever read. I couldn't put it down. So many times I'll read the reader's response to a book and think, "Ya sure! I bet I won't feel this way about the book." No so about your book!! I can't say enough good things about it to enough people. Reading this book really motivates you to work on your prayer life.

I gave your book to my neice to read after we finished it. Her whole family started reading it at the same time and were actually vying with each other to read the book.

Please keep up the good work. I'll eagerly await more of your work. Thank you for allowing God to use you to serve Him in such an entertaining and enlightening way!

The declining role of the family in American culture is a subject of much discussion today. "On The Edge" illustrates the truth about what has happened to the American family and what must be done to return our soul as a nation.
- Jim Anderson, Morrison, CO

I found "On The Edge" so gripping, that I read it in one sitting! Needless to say, I got little sleep that night-but it was well worth it. Parker Hudson's hard hitting portrayal of the evil confronting people in this time of history is amazingly real. The "behind the scenes" view we are given of spiritual warfare and the way our prayers actually can make a difference is a wake up call for all Christians. I came away from this novel with a new committment to intercession, a new boldness to share Jesus, and a courage to stand up to local government to fight for what is right. Something else I came away with was the knowledge in my heart that this book was most definitely written under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Every Christian should read this book!

Bold insight into what teens and their families are dealing with. Offers much needed hope for todays Christians.

After being led by the Holy Spirit to find "The President" on the shelves of my favorite Christian bookstore and reading it very quickly, I had an insatiable desire to read more of Mr. Hudson's work. My local libray had "On The Edge" and I just finished it last night, crying throughout the final, victorious chapter. My walk with the Lord has been strengthening over the past year or so, but now that I have been driven to my knees in thanksgiving and praise by the Holy Spirit by way of the Sullivan family, I thank you, Mr. Hudson, for letting God work through you to share the truths of Jesus Christ. Not only do I now want my own copy, but I shall be ordering other copies for my friends to enjoy. Thank you again for being the Lord's vessel of righteousness.

Dear Parker: As you know, I enormously enjoyed your books and am glad that you now have your own web site. You know how much I love to read books and I think I'm ready for a new one of yours! God bless!
- Yuri Yudakov, Moscow, Russia

"When I got back from vacation I ordered 25 copies and have been giving it away to my friends. It should be required reading for folks of our generation. And we have asked our three older children to read your book because we think that you have written a book that older teens can really appreciate as well. Book I could be a studied as a modern day commentary on Romans chapter 1. Some may object to the detailed descriptions of the less desirable relationships described in the book and also of some of the events in the book that are painfully brutal, but we felt that this makes the book more realistic for people poised on the doorstep of the 21st century."
- Rev. John Yates

"I cried through the entire last chapter; chill bumps stood the hair on arms up as I lived over in my mind the many ways God has worked in our lives...I pray this book will open many eyes and hearts."
- Patricia Jones

"My heart is so full I was thankful to be alone when I came to the conclusion of On The Edge today. Parker, the voices rising up from the pages of this book came through you from the Holy Spirit. You're right. It is a miracle. The search can be long and painful because we are unable to simplify, to be still, to listen."
- Patsy Dickey

"I want to thank you for writing such a powerful book. I praise God for using you to touch others' lives in this way. I have recommended and given your book to many people. I hear that you are working on another one...I can't wait."
- Joni Towles

"I am often tempted to 'walk by sight' in the conduct of my affairs. On The Edge clearly shows how we listen to the voices of darkness, even while believing we are only making logical, rational 'real world' decisions. Your book shows the reality of spiritual warfare. More importantly, it brings into focus the awesome power of prayer (just as described in the Bible) and the importance of showing others how God works in our lives, if we seek him."
- Sam King

"I'm still overwhelmed after finishing On The Edge last evening. My eyes are weary from crying so much. Oh, if only everyone would read the two scenarios presented in the book and see how glorious the Spirit-filled life is-for our good and God's glory!"
- Peggy Davis

"What an anointed book! God has really gifted you to use writing to challenge the Body of Christ. Reading the book has stiffened my spine to do more for God here in Moscow. Thanks for being obedient to the Lord in writing these books. I know that you give Him all the glory, but I want to encourage you to keep writing as He directs you."
- Rev. Terry Townsend

"I was drawn in from the first page and literally was mesmerized by the gut wrenching story of spiritual warfare and family destruction that was set forth in Book One, then was liberated and thoroughly convicted by the counterpoint of victorious life so thoroughly painted in Book Two. I truly feel that your book is a must read for businessmen, parents and children."
- Roy Jones

"If Parker was trying to convict me about praying, he succeeded! His book is powerful and one of the most moving I have read in al long time."
- Parker Wright

"My wife, my elder daughter and I have just read your book and I wanted to write to share with you the exciting impact it has had on our lives...It provided a great read that will leave long term, vivid impressions about how spiritual warfare is such an insidious battle....Much more significant is the impact on our 14 year old daughter....the Holy Spirit worked in her heart through the book. She said it has forever changed her life, her way of thinking, and for that I owe you eternal gratitude."
